Russian troops attacked a driver of a car with humanitarian assistance in Kharkiv region, two people were injured – police

In Kharkiv, the Russian military attacked a drone by a car in which they carried humanitarian aid to the frontline settlement, resulting in two people injured, the regional police reported.

It was reported that it happened in the morning of August 26 in the Volchansk region. The victims have an acute response to stress, VAZ vehicle is damaged.

The UN mission has previously stated that exacerbation of hostilities along the front line in Ukraine leads to the death and injuries of civilians, the destruction of critically important infrastructure, stopping the provision of basic services and new waves of movement.

The mission estimated that in 2025, more than 60% of all killed and wounded among civilians were in frontline areas, mainly as a result of Russian artillery shelling, RSSV strikes, the use of airbombs and drones of the near action radius.

Russian military regularly from various weapons – UAVs, missiles, booths, RSSUs – attacked Ukrainian regions.

The Russian leadership denies that during a full -scale war, the Russian army causes purposeful strikes in the civilian infrastructure of cities and villages of Ukraine, killing civilian populations and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply.

Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful.
