As reported by the CPD, the Russians are spreading misinformation about the alleged mass disappearance of teenagers in the Sumy region. According to propagandists, these teenagers disappeared in January 2025 and they were allegedly forcibly mobilized into the Armed Forces.
“This information is an outright fake,” the Center emphasized.
They noted that as “evidence” propagandists show screenshots of messages about the disappearance of teenagers. But they are fakes created with an image editing program.
Taking several real announcements about the disappearance of teenagers in different regions of Ukraine during 2024, the propagandists changed the place and date in them.
