Details: According to the US and USA delegations, during the consultation of the Russian and USA delegations, the US side “transferred an official note with Agraman to the appointment of the director of the North Atlantic Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia by the new extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Russian Federation in the United States.”

Reference: Darchiev worked in the diploma of the Russian Federation in Washington in general for about 10 years. From 1997 to 2002 he held the position of adviser to the embassy, and from 2005 to 2010 – the Advisor.
From October 2014 to January 2021, Darchiev worked as an Ambassador of Russia to Canada. From January 2021 he held the position of director of the North America Department in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
