Russia lost 970 military – the General Staff of the Armed Forces a day

The Russian army lost about 970 soldiers during the previous day, said the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on October 3.

According to the assessment of the command, the total losses of the Russian Federation during the full -scale invasion reached about 1 million 113 430 people of personnel.

Russia does not officially disclose its losses. Moscow last called the number of killed in September 2022 – then declared 5937 dead.

Kyiv also did not voice losses for a long time, stating that the data would be disclosed after the war. At the same time, on February 16, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with NBC News that since February 2022, Ukraine lost more than 46,000 soldiers and about 380,000 in the war.
