On November 8, emergency power cuts were introduced in Ukraine due to massive attacks by Russian troops. In several regions, in particular, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Cherkasy regions, there is a significant disruption of electricity supply.
Minister of Energy Olha Grynchuk noted that rescuers and power workers will start restoring the system as soon as the security situation allows.
Grynchuk urged citizens to remain calm and follow official information, stressing that despite all the difficulties, winter in Ukraine will pass with light and warmth.
At the same time, in connection with the introduced emergency schedules, scheduled power outages were suspended, which allows to control the situation more effectively.
