Rubio commented on Ukraine’s probable plan on partial ceasefire

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio called a promising probable proposal to Ukraine for partial ceasefire in the war with Russia. He told reporters on March 10 shortly before landing in Saudi Arabia.

“I’m not saying that it will be enough, but this is a type of concession necessary to stop the conflict,” Rubio said.

Earlier, the media, citing sources, reported that Kiev would offer an air and marine truce with Russia during negotiations on Tuesday.

On March 11, Saudi Arabia has to negotiate between Ukrainian and American delegations. Andriy Yermak, Presidential Head, and Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Presidential Head of Presidential President Pavlo Palis will be represented in the negotiations.

The US White House Advisor Mike Volz, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio will come to the meeting.

The US representative in the Middle East Steve Witkoff said that negotiations in Saudi Arabia should define the framework for a peace agreement and the initial ceasefire.
