The match of the ninth round took place on Saturday, October 18 Ukrainian Premier Leaguein which Zhytomyr “Polissya” and Donetsk “Shakhtar” met (0:0).

After the match, the head coach of the “Wolves” Ruslan Rotan shared his opinion about the championship ambitions of his wards in the current season. At the moment, “Polyssia” has scored 16 points and occupies the fourth place in the tournament table.

“Mentality is worked out and given to the team together with victories – the better you perform, the more confidence in your abilities. We want to go for it and constantly emphasize that every training session is important. You need to give 100%, do everything the coach asks. That’s when mentality and growth appear.

We are going towards it and working on it. I believe that Polissya is a very skillful team. If you become a champion, you must try again to repeat this result. We talked about it with the football players. You need to tune in to every training session, to every game and to the championship in general.

Championship talk? This needs to be supported by results and it is too early to talk about it now. We strive to win this title and I am sure that we will get there, but for this we need to fight a lot,” said Rotan.
