“When found in the border supervisory device, they demanded a form of protection from the Romanian state, which is governed by the EU decision 382/2022, ”the team said.
He also added that most citizens of Ukraine who illegally cross the border with Romania cross the Tisza River or go mountainous.
According to the head of the territorial border police inspection, the number of illegal crossings of the border, recorded in 2024, more than three times exceeds the rates of 2023.
