Their meters count indicators of water, heat and electricity consumption in the Verkhovna Rada, the President’s Office, at the CHP and NPP, in banks, business centers, greenhouses, hospitals and schools, as well as in tens of thousands of multi-apartment residential buildings in Ukraine and abroad.

In wartime, the issue of responsible energy consumption became of primary importance. The Ukrainian company Sempal knows all about this, because it has more than 30 years of experience in the development and industrial production of energy-saving equipment: high-precision and reliable ultrasonic meters for water, electricity and heat consumption, controllers, temperature regulators, individual heat points.

One of the examples of saving energy consumption was the large project of installing Sempal heat meters in 762 multi-apartment residential buildings in the Shevchenkiv district of Kyiv.

As a result, tens of thousands of residents paid an average of 23% less for one heating season than before the installation of heat meters. And such examples of saving energy consumption thanks to Sempal equipment many not only on residential, but also on industrial areasthe projects

Sempal production base is located in Cherkasy. Currently, the company is working on obtaining European quality certificates for its products for the possibility of expanding export supplies abroad.

“We are a 100% Ukrainian company, we have been working on the market since 1992. Effective energy consumption in the face of constant Russian attacks is currently an urgent issue. Both business and ordinary Ukrainians already understand the need to save and account for water, electricity and heat.

We expect an increase in the demand for our products, because it allows us to save resources and money for their consumption,” says Liana Melnyk, the company’s commercial director.

According to her, since the beginning of the war, the cost of attracting financing for business development in Ukraine has increased. In addition, due to large orders to ensure supplies of critical infrastructure facilities, it was often necessary to raise money quickly for the purchase of equipment.

Cooperation with suppliers through the eDilo platform helped to solve this problem. So it was possible to purchase equipment in installments at a lower interest rate than from the bank.

“This is a very convenient platform, and we understand that the future lies behind it. We know how difficult it is to get loans now, how problematic it is. eDilo helped us get financing, but here we also expect to find additional customers for our products, because through the platform, the buyer can pay for it in installments.

At the same time, the seller receives all payment for the goods immediately. For Ukrainian companies, this is a good opportunity to receive a product or service in installments,” states Liana Melnyk.

According to Sempal’s commercial director, the company now supplies meters to a school and hospital in Donetsk region that were rebuilt after the destruction, it also supplied meters to the CHP plant in Sumy region, and has projects with a number of Ukrainian companies in the field of agriculture and real estate.

With the increase in energy tariffs, the company expects an increase in demand for its products, because the accurate calculation of electricity, water and heat costs guarantees the optimal cost of products in any industry, and also reduces the financial burden on business and all Ukrainians.

eDilo is an innovative factoring service for business, which is being developed by the financial company Activitis with the support of the USAID Project “Investments for Business Sustainability” (IBR). The platform simplifies the process of concluding deals and offers businesses the ability to effectively manage costs by paying for goods and services in installments or on a deferred basis.

At the same time, they will receive cashbacks (up to 12% of the amount of the B2B transaction), which makes concluding transactions on the eDilo platform even more attractive. Seller companies get access to factoring services at an affordable price on the eDilo platform, because the co-financing program of the Project and Activitis provides for the compensation of the commission for such services.
