As of October 14, in Toretsk, Donetsk region, there are no entire houses and shelters left for civilians and military personnel. Russian occupiers began to occupy new areas.
This was announced by Anastasia Bobovnikova, the speaker of the Luhansk OTU, on the air of the telethon “Edyni news”.
She specified that the almost completely destroyed city allows the Russians to occupy new areas, but already on the burnt earth.
“Unfortunately, the enemy continues to storm our positions, and there are not whole houses left in Toretsk. Now the city is more like a deserted planet: there are no shelters for both civilians and military, and, unfortunately, this allows the enemy to occupy new areas, but already burnt land,” said Bobovnikova.
According to her, the Russians change into civilian clothes to reach Ukrainian positions. This tactic is characteristic of Russian actions in cities, in particular in the area of Chasovoy Yar.
The spokeswoman added that the Russians are suffering huge losses in Toretsk, but the leadership of the Russian army “promises them mountains of gold.”
Earlier, the Luhansk OTG stated that the situation in the city of Toretsk is dynamic, but really difficult.
“The fight is going on literally for every entrance, for every street. We see that the eastern and southeastern areas of the city are occupied by the enemy. However, there are active battles for another part of the city. We are restraining the enemy there,” said the spokeswoman of the Luhansk OTG.
The situation in the Toretsk direction is the main thing
The enemy army continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Pokrovsky, Kurakhivskyi, Kupyanskyi, Lymanskyi and Toretsk directions.
On September 18, the Institute for the Study of War reported on the advance of the Russians in the eastern regions of Toretsk.
On September 30, military analysts reported that the invaders advanced into the center of Toretsk and captured a village near Pokrovsk.
On October 10, Luhansk OTG was informed that there is not a single whole building in Toretsk, the occupiers have an advantage in strength and are regularly replenishing personnel on the front line.
