The Polish Krushvice will host the European Rowing Championship among athletes under 19 on May 24-25. The organizers did not allow Russian rowers to competitions.
In order to participate in the European Championship, it was necessary to sign a declaration in which they would condemn the war with Ukraine and the actions of the authorities of Russia and Belarus.
Athletes also had to confirm that they did not receive state funding and sponsorship from Russia and companies related to Russia. According to Russian media, athletes refused to do so.
Therefore, athletes from Russia will not be admitted to the European Championships.
