Head coach of the Ukrainian national team Sergey Rebrov talked about the large number of player injuries and personnel problems of the national team:
“Unfortunately, almost all the matches we played could not be played in the “combat” lineup, because there are too many injured players. The two games we played couldn’t use 4-5 core players.
It’s hard to judge a game when you can’t use everyone. But I am really very grateful to the guys who, despite the fact that we lost points in Azerbaijan, in these two games brought us back to the fight and took these games very seriously.”
Football players of the national team, who were excluded from the team due to injuries, were called up.
