Head coach of the Ukrainian national team Sergey Rebrov frankly told why he did not release Andrey Yarmolenko in favor of the national team of Ukraine. The specialist said that there is good competition for Andrey’s position.
“History with Yarmolenko shows that there are now enough players in his position who showed and show a good level. It was very interesting for me to see the level of Hutsulyak, the same Nazarenko who scored many goals and shows a mature game in the national championship.
It was very interesting for me to call these players, but not to call them as the fourth player for the position, but to give them a chance,” said Rebrov.
In November, “blue-yellow” will play two matches. On November 16, they will play against Albania.
It was previously reported that the Albanian national team lost key players before the match with Ukraine.
