“Deer are the real stars of this winter! They break records in terms of occurrence: our experts are happy with every appearance and even manage to catch moments for photos. And we share these photos with you with great pleasure,” the message reads.

In the photos released by the researchers, you can see many deer. They are recorded walking through a snowy forest, eating, etc. In some pictures, the animals seem to be posing for the photographer – one gets the impression that they are looking directly into the lens and waiting for the command: “Smile!”.

According to the researchers, the gray one knows a lot about speed and camouflage, but did not have time to escape the photographer. The photo shows a hare in a snowy area, in the exclusion zone. In one of the pictures, he seems to be hovering above the ground.

Also, in the Chernobyl area, a mysterious bird was spotted lurking in an abandoned building – a gray owl sitting on a rotten window frame. The researcher also found a sign with the address “35 Kovpaka Street” of a settlement in the exclusion zone. Before the accident at the nuclear power plant, life was raging here, but now – wild nature – the owl seems to have frozen on the window of the old house.

Also, experts of the Chernobyl radiation and ecological biosphere reserve said that foxes are currently in the mating season. This period is from December to March. Animals become extremely loud, try to attract their “half” and claim rights to the territory. The race is accompanied by active interaction between the pair – together the animals chase prey and play. At this time, foxes are very aggressive – it is better not to approach them.
