Analytical portal Opta has updated the chances of the teams in the fight for the prestigious trophy – the main favorite is the London “Arsenal” (29.8%), which took the final first place in the main stage.
At the start of the season, the Gunners were rated at 16% to win the tournament, but the impressive form of Mikel Arteta’s side, who have won all eight matches, has made them the main favorites for the season.
Experts believe that the main competitors of “Arsenal” will be the German “Bavaria” (14.9%) and another representative of the English Premier League – “Manchester City” (10.5%).
The chances of the French PSG, who won the Champions League last season, were estimated at only 5.1%. According to this indicator, Luis Enrique’s team ranks only seventh in the Opta rating.
Let’s also note the significant fall of Madrid “Real”, which survived the change of the head coach and now continues the struggle under the leadership of the new coach Alvaro Arbeloa.
“Vershkovi” is placed in the 12th position, and the probability of their victory in the tournament is 1.9%. The chances of the Portuguese “Benfica” to win the trophy are 0.5%.
