Details: On Thursday, November 28, the Halytsky District Court of Lviv extended the preventive measure in the form of detention until December 25 for the provocateur Ostap Stakhiv and set a bail of 908.4 thousand hryvnias.
Stakhiva’s remand was extended on the second attempt: on November 27, the meeting was postponed because the suspect’s lawyer, Mykola Kreminets, could not participate in the hearing.
The meeting was attended by supporters of Stakhiv, who provoked the prosecutor and made noise in the court. Bail for the pseudo-activist was determined by the judge of the Galicia District Court of Lviv, Iryna Volosko.
What preceded: On October 2, 2024, the court, on the fifth attempt, chose a preventive measure in the form of the unalternative arrest of the pseudo-activist Ostap Stakhiva, who is suspected of illegally distributing ZSU locations and fraud.
According to the case materials, during the broadcast, Stakhiv distributed information about the location of the personnel of one of the departments of the TCC of the Rivne region, with the possibility of their identification on the ground. Later, the suspect publicly shared a video recording of the live broadcast on his Facebook page and Telegram channel.
In addition, the suspect implemented a criminal scheme to seize citizens’ funds under the pretext of studying on the Internet. Stakhiv organized online “journalism” courses, where, among other things, he taught his followers to counter the mobilization in Ukraine.
