Prosecutor’s Office: The DPSU official demanded a “kickback” for the supply of spare parts for military units

Law enforcement officers detained an official of the automobile service of the military unit of the State Border Service, who received from a private entrepreneur 10% of the cost of automobile spare parts supplied for the needs of the military unit.

Details: According to the investigation, the total amount of the “kickback” is UAH 110,000. Procurement was carried out within the framework of public procedures for the provision of transport used in the combat zone.

Law enforcement officers documented three facts of receipt of funds in July and September 2025. On January 2, while receiving the next part of the bribe, the official was detained and reported on suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an unlawful benefit by an official).

The detainee faces from five to ten years in prison with confiscation of property.
