As the city prosecutor’s office reported in a telegram, the court imposed a preventive measure on the accused in the form of detention with a bail in the amount of 119 million 880 thousand hryvnias.
According to the report, the prosecutor insisted on continuing the guard without setting bail.

According to the investigation, on the night of May 26, 2023, Oleksiy Tandyr, head of the Makariv district court of the Kyiv region, committed a road accident at a roadblock in Kyiv, resulting in the death of 23-year-old Vadym Bondarenko, who was serving in the National Guard. The judge is suspected of violating traffic safety rules, driving a vehicle while intoxicated, which caused the victim’s death.
At the beginning of August 2023, employees of the SBI completed the pre-trial investigation of Oleksiy Tandyr.
Immediately after the accident, during the meeting of the High Council of Justice (HCJ), Tandyr denied that he was intoxicated. At the same time, during the meeting, Tandyr pleaded guilty to the beating of a Ukrainian serviceman and assured that he would cooperate with the investigation.
At the beginning of August 2024, the Supreme Council of Justice decided to dismiss the accused Oleksiy Tandyr from the post of judge.
