The aggressor country has significantly increased the production of drones and plans to launch about 500 UAVs in Ukraine at the same time, said the Deputy Chief of the Main Intelligence Department of the MA Major-General Vadim Skibitsky in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, which was published on Monday, March 3.

According to him, in the plans of the Russians – to increase the number of launches, from where they will run drones in the Ukrainian regions.

According to estimates of the Russian command, in the case of plans for the first half of the year, they will be able to run at the same time about 500 unmanned aerial vehicles, ”Skibitsky said.

On the night of February 23, Russia attacked Ukraine with a record number of UAVs – 267. At that time, the air defense destroyed 138 drones, 119 were locally lost, the air forces reported.
