Ukraine deserves the fact that next year will be a year of peace. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this while addressing the participants of a special session of the European Parliament in connection with the thousandth day of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine.

The head of state thanked for the support of Ukraine, the Peace Formula, the Ukrainian people – their resilience, their ability to restore security even after the most destructive mass attacks by Russia.

“Thank you for the fact that none of the thousand days of this terrible war was a day of betrayal of our common European values,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

The president called for stronger sanctions against Russia and to do everything to end the war honestly and fairly.

Separately, he emphasized that there are currently 11,000 North Korean troops near the border with Ukraine, this contingent may increase to 100,000.

“While some European leaders are thinking about the possibility of winning some election or something like that at the expense of Ukraine, Putin is focused on winning this war. He will not stop himself. The more time he has, the worse the conditions become. Every “today” is the best moment to press Russia harder,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy is convinced.
