Energy experts urge citizens to consume electricity sparingly when it is available.

On Sunday, January 11, in all regions of Ukraine, energy companies will be forced to apply hourly power outage schedules. The company “Ukrenergo” will inform about this.
It is noted that capacity limitation schedules will be in effect for industrial consumers.
“The reason for the introduction of restrictive measures is the consequences of Russian missile and drone attacks on energy facilities,” the energy company emphasized.
Energy experts noted that the situation in the power system may change. Exact timetables of hourly departures by queues and addresses are published by local regional energy companies.

The situation in the energy system of UkraineAs UNIAN wrote, according to Oleksandr Kharchenko, director of the Energy Research Center, Ukraine’s energy system is able to recover after the Russian attacks thanks to the available reserves of equipment and developed repair mechanisms, but these reserves are gradually depleted and need to be replenished.
In some cities, in particular in Zaporizhzhia and Kryvyi Rih, power supply can be restored in a matter of hours, while in Dnipro – in about a day, despite the difficult conditions of constant attacks. The main problem now is not in the organization of restoration work, but in financing: all logistical and technical processes have already been worked out, so the key task is to find funds for the purchase of new equipment and maintaining the stability of the power system.
