What a movie aboutThe Documentary “Porcelain War” tells about three Kharkiv artists – the glory of Leontiev, his wife Anya Stasenko and their friend Andrei Stefanov. Despite the constant shelling and threat from the Russian troops, they remain in frontier Kharkiv and continue to create porcelain statuettes. In this way, they not just retain art, but turn ruins into a space of beauty and resistance.

Who created the movieThe directors of the ribbon were Slava Leontiev and Brendan Bellomo. Leontiev is not only a co -mode, but also the main character of the film. He is known as a graphic artist who works with porcelain. His work has become a symbol of how art can survive even in the most difficult conditions.

For example, Screen Daily called it “a personal confession, almost like a living album of memoirs”, Hollywood Reporter emphasized that “the movie has a clear artistic approach” and the Indewire journalist suffered that the tape contains “Shocking contrast …”.

Currently, an IMDB movie rating is 7.1 out of 10 points, while on Rotten Tomatoes, it received 95% of critics with Certified Freshness and 99% of viewers. At the same time, at Metacritic, movie experts rated it at 73 out of 100 points, and a wide audience – 7.9 of 10 points, which in both cases corresponds to the characteristic “generally positive feedback”.
