Pope Leo told reporters outside his residence in Castel Gandolfo that he was upset by Russia’s refusal of a Christmas truce in the war with Ukraine, which has been going on for almost four years.

Details: “Among the things that cause me great sadness is the fact that Russia appears to have abandoned the request for a truce,” the pope told reporters outside his residence in Castel Gandolfo.
