Unlike many humanoids, it uses synthetic muscles to reproduce close to human movements.

Unlike many other humanoid robots, ProtoClone uses a polymer skeleton and more than 1000 artificial muscles (myofibrils) that are filled with hydraulic fluid. It is pumped by an electric pump.
In addition, the robot is equipped with an advanced sensory system that covers four chambers in the skull for tasks of vision, under 70 inertial sensors for tracking the position of the joints and 320 pressure sensors for power feedback. The developers claim that the robot will be able to learn new actions in the process of monitoring people.
In a video published by the developers, the robot is shown to the ceiling, while its limbs pull and make movements similar to human ones.
Clone Robotics expects that in the future, technology should be the basis for commercial Andoids. ProtoClone is expected to be able to use different tools and perform daily tasks, such as washing, washing dishes and even cooking. The company has not yet announced prices, it is only known that preliminary orders for them will be opened in 2025.
For the first time, this technology was demonstrated to the public as early as 2022, releasing a robot that used the same Myofiber muscular system.
Meanwhile, Tesla leader Ilon Musk promises 10,000 humanoid robots Optimus in 2025. According to the plan, such works are intended to replace most of the routine human work. In the future, there will be as many robots in the world as people, Musk considers.
Previously, Musk showed the process of “reproduction” of its humanoid robots Optimus. They work on the basis of the most advanced artificial intelligence – the same is used in Tesla cars.
