Direct speech of Palis: “I had a good conversation with the Chief of the General Staff Andrii Hnatov… Our common goal is simple and clear: each combat brigade should receive the projected number of recruits. A fighter should come exactly where he will serve. And from the first day know: this is my unit, this is my commander, this is my team. This is where I learn, get along, and it is with these people that I will go on a mission.”

Details: He reminded that there are many brigades in the armed forces that already have their own training capabilities – in particular, instructors and material base. It is planned to strengthen them so that they can receive people on time and cook well.

Where such opportunities do not yet exist, Palisa suggests creating training bases. At the same time, he emphasized that this does not mean that educational centers should disappear.

“Yes, there will be a transition period. The decision is long overdue. Commanders talk about it all the time, and they need to be heard. In recent weeks, I have had many conversations with brigade and corps commanders. They also give their own suggestions on how exactly this can be done.

Everyone wants one thing: a fair, clear and predictable distribution that makes it possible to plan training and rotations, and not live in the chaos of manual decisions,” said the deputy head of the OP.

He added that he had agreed with General Hnatov that they would hold a joint meeting during the week, agree on numbers, mechanisms and stages of implementation.

“At the next Stavka, options for solutions will be presented to the president for consideration, and the most important thing for all of us is that the solution really works and helps those who are at ground zero today and those who will join the ranks tomorrow,” Palisa concluded.
