Details: The 49-year-old resident of Cherkasy was detained by special forces of the CORD and a special purpose police with special means. No one was injured.
Law enforcement officers say that thanks to the clear and professional actions of the police, as well as SBU employees in the Cherkasy region, the threat of explosion. The man was detained in the order of Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
He seized three grenades with blasts and a gun.

Investigators of the police and the SBU in Cherkasy region under the procedural guidance of the Cherkasy District Prosecutor’s Office, the issue of notifying the detainee about suspicion under a number of articles: Part 1 of Art. 263 (unlawful handling of weapons, battles or explosives), Part 1 of Art. 350 (threat or violence against an official or citizen who performs public duty), Art. 114-1 (obstruction of the legitimate activity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military formations) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The investigative team, special forces of the special purpose police and KORD, criminalists of the investigative department and Cherkasy district management, explosive equipment of the regional police arrived promptly. Police began negotiations with him.
