The total value of the arrested Russian property exposed by the police is UAH 20 billion. Of these, more than 17 billion of these assets have already been transferred to the state.
This was stated by the first deputy head of the National Police of Ukraine – the head of the Chief Investigative Directorate Maxim Tsutskiridze, reports “UNIAN”.
“Police investigators continue to set assets related to the Russian Federation. Since the beginning of a full -scale invasion, we have arrested more than a hundred objects – deposits, factories, office centers and other assets, ”said Tsuzkiridze.
According to him, more than 17 billion arrested assets have already been transferred to the State Agency for Investigation and Assets Management (ARMA). The proceeds from the sale of these assets are received by the state budget and are directed to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the restoration of critical infrastructure, destroyed as a result of hostilities.
One example is the activity of a sub -group of companies, which, despite the seizure of property and cancellation of special permits for the use of subsoil, continued commercial activities. Previously belonging to the Russian citizen were re -registered for third parties. At the same time, factories and careers continued the production and processing of minerals, and revenues were brought out beyond Ukraine, in particular to the Russian Federation.
Within this proceeding, investigators of the National Investigation Department of the National Police for prompt support of the strategic investigation department conducted a number of searches. The facts of illegal economic activity were identified, the work of arrested production capacity was recorded, trucks with products were stopped, special equipment and equipment for the production and processing of raw materials, as well as documentation on the legalization of property, were removed.
The police pay special attention to documenting attempts to withdraw assets abroad. The detected correspondence of the head of the company recorded contacts with sub -persons and coordination of offenses.
The evaluation of the evidence collected for additional legal qualifications is currently underway. The seized property is prepared for transfer to ARMA.
“In cooperation with the office of the Prosecutor General, the police do everything necessary for no asset that belongs or related to the Russian business, does not remain in the shadow. No hryvnia should work on the economy of the aggressor state, ”Tsuzkiridze added.
Earlier, the court transferred to the ARMA departments of arrested assets of a subsequent enterprise, the founder of which is the Russian company, and the ultimate beneficial owner – the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation.
Also, the National Assets Investigation and Management Agency (ARMA) searched for assets of persons involved in the illegal activity of Ukrainian economic entities in particularly large amounts.
