Substitute Oleg Plotnytskyi from Ukraine was injured in the decisive fifth set of the match between the leaders of the Italian volleyball Superleague “Perugia” – “Trentino” (2:3). 
After landing, Oleg felt pain in his muscles and had to leave the site.
After the match, Perugia coach Angelo Lorenzetti commented on the situation in a few words: “Most likely, the injury is serious.”
The degree of severity of the damage, of course, will show a more detailed examination.
Perugia lost to Trentino in a tiebreaker 22:24, ending a 21-game winning streak. It is interesting that, in addition to Plotnytskyi, due to cramps, two more leaders of both teams could not complete the meeting – Umbria’s playmaker Yuki Ishikawa and Trentino’s passer Riccardo Sbertoli.
