Frenchman Michel Platiniwho is an adviser to the president of the International Federation of Professional Football Associations, and was previously the president of UEFA, took the initiative to make radical changes to the rules of football.
“Perhaps we should remove one football player from each team and play with ten players. In the last century, teams of 11 people played, but then the players ran less and slower than today. Then they were physically weaker. Therefore, perhaps it would be a good idea to reduce the number of players. This will free up space on the field,” said Platyny.
As a reminder, 69-year-old Michel Platini previously said that football is not an Olympic sport.
