Details: It is reported that all six on board the aircraft were from Mexico. The girl was treated in Philadelphia because of a condition that threatened her life, and after treatment she was transported home to Mexico.
The Mexican company Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, which belonged to the plane, reported that it had six people, they all remain missing.
“We cannot confirm now that someone has survived,” the company said.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the Learjet 55 departed from the city’s northeastern airport and headed to the Springfield Branson National Airport in Missour.
The accident occurred in less than 3 miles (4.8 kilometers) from the airport of Northeast Philadelphia, which mainly serves business jets and charter flights. The aircraft managed to rise to a height of about 500 meters above the ground, before falling in a densely populated area of the city.
The fall of the aircraft caused a fire that covered several houses with flames.
As of 23.00 local time, state government officials could not confirm how many people could die on the ground after the plane crashed into a densely populated part of the city.
Six people who were on the ground during the accident were hospitalized. Three victims remain in the hospital, and three more were released.
US President Donald Trump wrote on the Truth Social Social Network platform, which was “so sad” to see an accident. “More innocent souls have been lost,” he said. “Our people are fully involved.”
FAA stated that the Investigation will be managed by the National Transport Safety Council (NTSB), which collects information about the disaster.
