At the conciliatory council, the Parliament can consider the statements of the chairman of the deputy group “Platform for Life and Peace” Yuriy Boyko regarding the criticism of the language policy and the demolition of monuments that repeat Russian propaganda. This was reported by the Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Olena Kondratyuk, reports UNN with reference to Radio Svoboda.

“The question of unity is the key to the future of Ukraine. Therefore, of course, when we see such expressive statements, this is only evidence that some political forces have smelled the election. And this, in my opinion, is very shameful… They need an adequate political response I think that we will also consider this at the conciliatory council of the parliament. And secondly, each of us as a citizen will evaluate it,” she said Kondratyuk on December 16, talking to journalists at the “Law and Justice: Strengthening Cooperation in War Conditions” forum.

Answering the question about what the parliament can do in this case, Kondratiuk urged to wait for a decision.

“We will see what the parliament can do in this case. The worst thing that can happen is when Russia also uses this issue. The disorder in the country that can appear in the parliament is only in the hands of Russia,” the vice-speaker stressed.
