According to him, this is jeopardy “a dialogue that could contribute to the promotion of democratic standards in Georgia.”

Earlier, the PACE decided to ratify the powers of the Georgian delegation, but suspended many of its members and stated that it would revise them in April in the context of progress made by the Georgian authorities in the issue of termination of “democratic retreat” in the country.

In the approved PACE resolution, she stated that he would revise the powers in April 2025 in the context of progress made on a number of issues, including the organization of “new truly democratic parliamentary elections” held under strict international monitoring and in the context of political independence Effective steps that “allow Georgia to restore the process of European integration”, the immediate termination of police cruelty and human rights abuses, the release of all political prisoners before the April session of the Assembly in 2025.

In response to the adoption of the Georgian Dream Resolution, she stated that she was terminating at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. The decision was announced by the head of the Georgian delegation, Tey Tsulukiani.

Tsulukiani called the reservation about the appointment of new elections “categorically unacceptable” and stated that it “goes beyond the competence of this Assembly, violates our country’s sovereignty and ignores the will of more than a million hundred and a hundred and twenty thousand voters.”

Later, Herakli Kobakhidze Head on Imade said that PACE decision was a “absolute absurd”.

“If the decision on the Georgian people and our country changes, we will, of course, return to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, although it makes no sense to work in such a situation today,” he said.
