In the quarterfinals a Canadian in four sets played Australia’s representative Alex de Minaura (ATR 8) in 4 hours and 13 minutes.
It was the fourth face -to -face confrontation of rivals. Felix overcame Alex for the third time.
The next rival will be either Jannik Sinner or Lorenzo Museum.
Felix for the third time played a top 10 atr rating on Grand Slam. He went out to the Second Final of Major in his career.
