During the past day, 163 combat clashes were recorded along the entire front line. This is stated in the operational information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on September 22.
In the Kharkiv direction the enemy tried to storm near the settlement of Vovchansk. In addition, the enemy’s aircraft struck residential areas of Kharkiv with anti-aircraft missiles, as a result of which the civilian population and civil infrastructure were damaged.
On the Kupyansk direction seven attacks by invaders took place during the day. The defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Sinkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Kruglyakivka, Kotlyarivka, Stelmakhivka, and Lozova.
On the Lymansky direction the enemy attacked 28 times. Tried to wedge into our defenses near Druzhelyubivka, Cherneshchyna, Grekivka, Nevsky, Torsky, Tern, Makiivka, Novosadovo, and Bilogorivka.
On the Seversky direction Ukrainian defenders repelled the assault of the Russian invaders near Vyimka.
On the Kramatorsk direction the occupiers attacked 11 times in the districts of Kalynyvka, Maiskyi, Andriivka and Bila Hora.
The enemy is in the Toretsk directionwith the support of aviation, carried out 12 attacks near Nelipivka, Toretsk and Shcherbinivka.
In the Pokrovsky direction our defenders stopped 28 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor towards the settlements of Vozdvizhenka, Novotoretsk, Krasny Yar, Novogrodivka, Selidove, Marynivka and Mykhailivka. The greatest concentration of enemy attacks was near Selidovoy.
In the direction of Kurakhiv Defense forces repelled 25 attacks. The occupiers most actively tried to advance in the area of the settlement of Georgiyivka. In addition, the enemy attacked in the direction of Tsukuriny, Hirnyk, Kostyantynivka, Katerynivka, and Zhelanno Drogo.
In the direction of Vremivsk the enemy carried out nine assaults on our positions in the areas of Vugledar, Katerynivka, Vodyanyi and Pavlivka. Actively used bomber aircraft for strikes in the direction.
In the Gulyaipil direction the Russian invaders unsuccessfully attacked in the Gulyaipol area.
On the Orihiv direction occupation troops stormed the positions of the Defense Forces in the areas of Robotyny, Novoandriivka and Novodanilivka four times.
The operation is in progress in the Kursk region. Enemy aviation continues to raze their villages and cities to the ground. Over the past day, Russian planes carried out 26 airstrikes with thirty-three anti-aircraft missiles on their own territory.
On the Volyn and Polissky directions no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions the enemy from the territory of the Russian Federation is actively using artillery and aviation in the areas of Ukrainian settlements.
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupying forces and actively undermine the offensive potential of the enemy in the rear.
In general, the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,500 people last day. Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed 22 tanks, 52 armored combat vehicles, 63 artillery systems, two anti-aircraft guns, 67 operational-tactical UAVs, 57 vehicles and 19 units of special equipment.
