Details: MeNMyRC draws its conclusions on the basis of satellite images, which show a large sinkhole in Plesetsk, as well as data on the flights of American reconnaissance aircraft.

It is reported that the alleged huge funnel indicates that the rocket exploded in the mine, destroying the test site. The fire in the landfill area was recorded by NOAA-20 and SUOMI NPP satellites, the expert said.

An American reconnaissance aircraft Boeing RC-135S Cobra Ball took off from the American base in Alaska to monitor the Sarmat tests, MeNMyRC clarifies with reference to FlightRadar24 data. However, he did not record the launch, the publication said.

According to the expert, this can be explained by the fact that the explosion could not have occurred directly during the launch, but, for example, during the fuel loading process.

We will remind: Earlier, Western media reported on five unsuccessful launches of “Sarmat”.

According to CNBC, the Sarmat’s longest test flight lasted just over two minutes, with the missile flying just over 35 kilometers before it lost control and crashed.

The only successful launch of the rocket allegedly took place on April 20, 2022.

Dictator Vladimir Putin instructed to put “Sarmat” on combat duty in 2022, which was done in September 2023.
