Da’Vine Joy Randolph cut a sizzling new figure as she revealed her incredible weight loss on Wednesday while she continued promoting her new film Shadow Force.

The 38-year-old actress, who earned an Academy Award for her role in The Holdovers last year, displayed her curves in New York City in a sexy black leather dress, along with a high-waist pair of trousers with a white top containing a seductive plunging neckline.

The dual looks — particularly her skin-tight leather dress — emphasized just how much weight Randolph has shed since she walked across the stage at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood last year to collect her Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.

Her outfit contained a bit of fun twist with the help of a undone bowtie dangling around her neck.

Da’Vine sported black heels, sunglasses, and a flawless manicure.

Although the Kajillionaire actress doesn’t appear to have spoken about her impressive weight loss, she looked happy to show off the results in her stylish ensembles.

She will be returning to the big screen soon with the action film Shadow Force, set for release May 2.

The action film stars Kerry Washington and follows ‘an estranged couple with a bounty on their heads must go on the run with their son to avoid their former employer, a unit of shadow ops that has been sent to kill them,’ according to IMDb.

Da’Vine stars opposite Method Man, with the duo playing Auntie and Unc, respectively.

During her appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark, Da’Vine dished on the film and being trained to use a gun for the film.

‘We’ve never before seen an African American centric and family centric action film before. And it’s femme forward,’ she said.

She spent two months training with ex-Marines for the film, who taught her the ins and outs of holding a gun.

‘It’s a catch-22, right? Sometimes you’ll do an action movie or something that requires some kind of physicality, or some special skill. Honestly they don’t always have just time for you to do that.

‘But we were really lucky that we had about two months with ex-Marines. It was intense.’

The actress also did press rounds in NYC in a chic high-waisted pair of trousers with a white top containing a seductive plunging neckline. The tuxedo-inspired look emphasized her slimmed-down midriff compared to when she won her Oscar

‘It felt very simple but they were talking about just how you hold a gun and how you can retrieve a gun without looking and how you hold it, how you’re able to take it apart and put it back together without looking.

‘Those types of things alone makes it look more real and believable… I now know how to do that.’

The film is quite the contrast to the one she starred in 2023 which earned her an Oscar — The Holdovers.

Da’Vine took home the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Mary Lamb, a grieving cafeteria manager, in the film.

The star has made no secret of the fact that her big Hollywood break has taken years because she doesn’t fit the mould of how a leading lady should look.

She has said: ‘People on screen don’t traditionally look like me. I’ve had to fight to play fully-realized characters with complexities.’

When applying for drama school, she was asked which actors she admired. After she mentioned Meryl Streep, Judi Dench and Cate Blanchett, the interviewer told her: ‘I need to make you aware that the people you gave are 60-plus-year-old white women, one from the UK.’

After her Oscar win, she partied until 5:45AM, according to Variety.

She was understandably sleepy the next day, but cheerfully told the outlet: ‘I’ve got the keys to the castle now!’

Da’Vine was a bit shell-shocked over her win, admitting: ‘I was taught to make a lot out of very little. It’s exciting to have access to resources and opportunities, especially for a woman of color.’

The outlet asked the Dolomite Is My Name star how she was feeling the morning after her win.

‘I feel grateful. I feel seen. I feel loved. I feel respected. I feel like the time and work that I’ve put in matters. I feel excited for the future,’ she gushed.

‘Growing up as somebody who didn’t have much, imagine when you get a lot: It’s exciting. To have access and to be a woman of color is a very big deal,’ she explained.
