Only 19% of surveyed Ukrainians believe that President Volodymyr Zelenskyi did not know about corruption in his circle and is not involved in the “Mindych scheme”.

Details: 39 percent of respondents believe that the president is part of a corruption scheme exposed by the NABU, 29% believe that the president knew about corruption in his circle, but did not take direct part, and 19% believe that the president has nothing to do with corruption and knew nothing about it.

In addition, 30% of respondents believe that the head of state should bear full responsibility for corruption in his environment, another 28% believe that responsibility should be only political and he should not run for the next term. And 30% are convinced that no evidence of his involvement has been established – he can run for office again.

For reference: Sociologists note that the research sample is close to representative at the level of the entire country in terms of age, gender, type of settlement and division into regions. The maximum number and population structure of internally displaced persons taken into account; citizens who went abroad.

The survey was not conducted in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, on the territory of the Luhansk region, on the temporarily occupied territories and on the territories where active hostilities are taking place (a large part of the Donetsk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhya and Kharkiv regions).

In total, 2,000 respondents were interviewed by quota stratified sampling in the research method using personal interviews (face to face) with the use of tablets (CAPI).

Statistical sampling error (confidence interval): +/- 2.6%.

It is indicated that the study was conducted by the Socis company and is part of the constant monitoring of public opinion “Barometer”, which the company has been conducting regularly for the past 10 years.
