The city government of Brovary continues to work on arranging high-quality shelters in kindergartens. In particular, large-scale repair work on the arrangement of the bomb shelter has been completed at the “Cravoni Vitryla” preschool. This was announced by the mayor of Brovary Ihor Sapozhko, he writes UNN.

“Repair work in the shelter was started practically “from scratch” in the spring of this year. As of today, the repair is completely finished,” Sapozhko said.

According to the director of the institution, Yulia Koval, the premises have undergone drastic changes.

“Just a year ago, there was clay almost knee-deep here, and in May of this year, repair work began and everything was redone. You can see for yourself how comfortable and cozy it has become, and the children really like being here. All communications have been completed, toilets have been installed, washrooms. Three large main rooms, and the fourth one is being finished. The parents are also satisfied, because the result is visible and that is the main thing,” said Koval.

It is worth noting that the repair of the shelter in the kindergarten was carried out at the expense of the local budget.

The mayor also noted that funding for further improvements to the comfortable stay of children in kindergarten is already planned. In particular, next year they plan to repair the entrance group, stairwells, corridors, replace communications, switchboards. “Therefore, I think the application will be quite large. But the kindergarten is one of the largest in our community, so we will allocate funding in the future for work in this institution,” Sapozhko added.

Let’s add

In the Brovary community, shelters in kindergartens are actively being set up to ensure the safety and comfort of children during air raids. The work is being carried out within the limits of the funding that was allocated by the local authorities, and is already showing results.

In particular, two shelters have been set up in the “Kraina ditynstva” kindergarten in the village of Trebukhiv, Brovar district – two rooms on each side of the building.

In the kindergarten “Vyshenka” in Knyazhychy, Brovar district, the work on the arrangement of the shelter is also nearing completion. There, the bomb shelter was equipped “from scratch”.

We will remind

Mayor of Brovary Ihor Sapozhko in an exclusive interview UNN recalled that there were many problems in the villages that became part of the community at first. In particular, Trebukhov could not pass a budget for three years in a row. The village did not develop, problems accumulated for years, they had to be solved. In Knyazhychy, the school had to be closed in the winter due to the low temperature and the issue with the boiler room had to be promptly resolved.

“These are completely different communities. We have elders there who express people’s opinions, which we listen to, and we also make our proposals for the development of these settlements.

We don’t have such a thing that the city lives its own life, and has forgotten about the three villages that were annexed to it. They are definitely members of a single community, members of a single family, and I believe that we should develop together,” Ihor Sapozhko said.
