Details: According to the BEB, the official concluded a contract according to which paper was purchased at prices that were significantly higher than market prices. As a result of such illegal actions, the budget of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defense suffered losses of over 5 million hryvnias.
The official was informed of suspicion of embezzlement of public funds and abuse of official position. The preventive measure has not been selected at this time.
