One of the best boxers in the world made a statement about Lomachenko

World champion from Kazakhstan Zhanibek Alimkhanuli told that Vasyl Lomachenko attended his training camp and supported the team.

“Loma visited the hall, watched the sparring matches and wished us luck. Thanks for stopping by – it was great to see you, champ,” Alimkhanuli wrote on social networks.

Alimkhanuli holds the IBF and WBO world championship titles and is ranked 17th in the ranking of the best boxers on the planet regardless of weight category by BoxRec.

Earlier, the lightweight world champion Vasyl Lomachenko announced the end of his boxing career. The Ukrainian’s last opponent was George Kambosos, whom he defeated in 2024.
