On the border with Poland, there are restrictions for trucks with cargo at two checkpoints – DSPU

The State Border Service of Ukraine reports that the passage of cargo vehicles with cargo through the checkpoints “Medyka” and “Grebenne” on the border with Poland is suspended, and at the checkpoint “Korchova” is slowed down.

“According to the information of the Polish side, at the checkpoints “Medyka” and “Grebenne” the operation of the database, which is used for the registration of cargo vehicles with cargo headed for departure from Ukraine (entry to the Republic of Poland), has been temporarily suspended. At the “Korchów” checkpoint, the database of the Polish customs service operates in a slow mode. Empty cargo vehicles are processed in the usual way. Other types of transport go through border and customs procedures without any changes,” the DPSU reported.

According to preliminary information, full operation of the Polish customs database is expected to be restored by 22:00 (Ukrainian time) on January 18, 2026.

The border service added that the restrictions apply to cargo vehicles with cargo heading for departure from Ukraine through Sheghini and Rava-Ruska checkpoints. At the “Krakowets” checkpoint, cargo clearance is carried out in a slow mode.

According to the DPSU, a total of 18 checkpoints and checkpoints, including nine automobile checkpoints, are registered on the Ukrainian-Polish border.
