At the border with Poland, customs officers stopped smuggling for almost one million hryvnias. In the Audi car, which was traveling through the green corridor, found 840 e -cigarettes and 17 pairs of AirPods Pro headphones hidden in various car hiding places.
This is stated in statement State Customs Service of Ukraine.
A vehicle under the management of a citizen of Ukraine drove at the checkpoint “Krakivtsi-Korchova” from Poland. The driver chose a lane of the Green Corridor for customs control, which stated that he would not carry prohibited goods or taxable.
However, during the inspection of the car, customs officers found hidden excise goods:

Roqy 40000 e -cigarettes in assortment with a total of 840 pieces,

17 pairs of Apple AirPods Pro headphones.
The goods were hidden in a niche for a spare wheel, under the hood and in a compartment for a charger, a closed plastic lid.
The protocol was drawn up on the illegal movement of goods with concealment from customs control.
Also, law enforcement agencies have been reported to commit actions that have signs of a criminal offense under Art. 204 of the Criminal Code on illegal transportation for the purpose of sale of excise goods.
The estimated value of the goods seized is about 825 thousand hryvnias.
