On February 20, commemorative events will be held in Kyiv and other cities of the world within the framework of the “Angels of Memory” initiative, dedicated to honoring the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred.

The central action in Kyiv will last from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the Alley of Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. Participants will hang paper angels, light candles and honor the dead with prayers. Communities of Ukraine and other countries, including Great Britain, Germany and Kazakhstan, will join the initiative.
At 5:00 p.m., the “Territory of Dignity” commemoration art program will be held on the “Independence Square” with performances by poets, musicians, public figures and military personnel. Among the participants: Yevhen Nyshchuk, Pavlo Korobchuk, Serhiy Fomenko, Lyubov Baziv and the choir of the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard of Ukraine. Anzhelika Rudnytska, the initiator of the event, will host the evening.
As the general director of the museum Ihor Poshivaylo emphasized, in the conditions of war, the memory of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred acquires special importance, because their feat continues in the resilience of the defenders of Ukraine.
