“The Crimea remains the territory of constant and systemic human rights violations. Every day, its inhabitants suffer the pressure, intimidation and restrictions of their basic social, economic and cultural rights, and are victims of persecution, illegal arrests and repression by the occupation forces. Both Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars are violated, ”he said.
The Ombudsman also mentioned that the United Nations International Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (Cescr) recently stressed that Russian armed aggression has caused serious violations of socio-economic and cultural rights in the occupied territories and expressed concern for compulsory withdrawal of private property.

Every day of occupation means new crimes and suffering of people. Therefore, our duty is to speak the truth, to record a violation and to seek punishment for the aggressor, ”Lubinets emphasized.
