Oliynikova knocked out the second seed at the start of the WTA 125 tournament in Switzerland

Ukrainian tennis player Alexander Oliynikov (WTA 202) successfully started at the WTA 125 soil tournament in the Swiss city of Montre.

In the first round, a Ukrainian in two sets beat the second seedlings Maar Sheriff (Egypt, WTA 102) in 1 hour and 29 minutes.

It was the first meeting of rivals.

Oliynikov interrupted a locks from three matches. The last Alexander won in mid-July, when she won the trophy of the 75,000th in the Hague.

The next opponent of Oliynikova will be the qualifier of Theodore Kostovich, who gave way to ITF W75 in Amstetten in early August.

The victory over the sheriff was the most rating in his career for Oliynykov. Previously, her best result was Victoria over Chloe Pack, which ranked 149th in the WTA ranking.
