Absolute world champions Oleksandr Usyk and Terence Crawford flew to Uzbekistan, where they took part in a boxing tournament as honored guests.
The Ukrainian jokingly decided to meet Terence, remembering the former Russian MMA fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov.
“Brother, stop. I am also Khabib,” Usyk said at the meeting.
The last time Usyk entered the ring was in July, when he knocked out British Daniel Dubois in the fifth round and took the IBF title from him. Crawford in September became the absolute world champion in the second middleweight, taking all the main titles from Saul Alvarez.
