The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy honored the Ukrainian military with state awards. Among the awardees was former People’s Deputy Oleg Lyashko, who currently commands the unmanned systems battalion of the 63rd separate mechanized brigade.

The President noted that he took part in the presentation of the initiative to evaluate the effectiveness of the E-Bala drone units and honored the soldiers with state awards.
“War goes through evolution, and everything becomes extremely dependent on another element as well – on who is the fastest and strongest in applying technology, in changing technology and in truthfully verifying what is happening on the battlefield. Ukraine vitally needs such leadership – leadership in technology,” he emphasized.
“Ukraine must maintain leadership and win in every cycle of technology development. To respond quickly to new challenges and – what is very important – to predict the next stages of the technological war. These are all difficult tasks. But it wasn’t easy to get to our current level either. Ukraine did it. We all did it together. We must ensure Ukraine’s unchanging technological leadership,” Zelensky concluded.
We will remind that on the occasion of the National Assembly Day of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi signature in the decree on awarding representatives of the medical field. Doctors of the Kyiv Center of Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery received state awards.
Zelensky awarded 728 defenders of Ukraine, more than 350 – posthumously.
Before that, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi awarded state awards to 109 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Fifty-two defenders were awarded posthumously. The corresponding decree has already been published on the website of the head of state.
