Cherkasy National Football League congratulated the fans on the New Year by announcing the name of the first winter rookie.
The leader of the championship of Ukraine officially lured the Nigerian midfielder to himself Adam Yakubu from the Slovak club “Trenchyn”.
The amount of the transfer and the terms of the football player’s contract remain unknown.
“Trenchyn” became the first European team in Adam’s career, which he joined at the beginning of September 2024. In total, Yakubu played 33 matches for the Slovak club, and did not score any goals or assists.
Previously, Dynamo, Shakhtar, as well as clubs from England, the Czech Republic, and Belgium were interested in the Nigerian football player, but Adam chose LNZ among all the candidates.
