The day before it was officially announced that the rival of the British would be a representative of Croatia Philip Khrgovich (17-11, 14 KOs). This confrontation will head the boxing evening from Frank’s promotional company Vorren Queensberry Promotion and will take place in the Aren-Op Live Arena arena in Manchester (England).
Joyce suffered three defeats in the last four duels – last July last year the British gave way to a unanimous decision of judges to compatriot Derek Chisori. Joe’s the loudest victories were won in the battles with Daniel Duba and Joseph Parker.
Khrgovich had 17 victories in a row and was invincible until he met with the owner of the IBF Duba title last June. The Croatian boxer was knocked out in the eighth round.
