Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation have completed a pre -trial investigation into an employee of the Podilskyi District Territorial Center for Acquisition and Social Support in the Odessa region, who for money made fake data in the electronic register of conscripts “Oberig”.
The indictment has already been sent to court, and the official himself fully pleaded guilty and declared his intention to redeem guilt by joining the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, the man began to engage in illegal activity at the end of 2024. He changed information in the register on the search and military accounting of men, which allowed him to “clients” avoid mobilization and even cross the state border.
The cost of such a “service” was $ 3,000 per person.
Law enforcement officers have already found that at least 12 people used the employee’s illegal scheme. Some of these men managed to leave the territory of Ukraine and others were found and mobilized to the army thanks to the efforts of the DBR.
Those left outside the country were wanted.
The official is accused of unauthorized interference with the work of information and communication systems committed by a person who has the right to access them.
The sanction of this article provides for a penalty or correctional work up to two years.
